This year is flying by with crazy weather and busy weeks.
With this only being a two day week, we took a break from our typical spelling lists and weekly stories. Instead we focused on grammar and new vocabulary words.
We talked about disguises and had a lot of fun with the story Turkey Trouble! It is a really cute story about a Turkey trying to hide and disguise himself to get out of being eaten.
We had fun talking about our favorite foods and creating wanted posters for our lost Turkeys.
We also worked hard this week to finish up out fact family and skip counting Turkeys! They will be featured in the east display case next month.
All grades are working hard in math. Kindergartners are finishing up shapes. First grade is working on fact families and 2 digit addition. Second graders are moving right along with 2 digit addition with regrouping and 2 digit subtraction with borrowing!
I hope you and your families have a wonderful Holiday and enjoy your time off!
